Diamond D Feat. Pharoahe Monch "Rap Life"

By Ralo

Diamond D appeared onto the hip hop scene in 1992 with the release of his first album "Stunts, Blunts And Hip-Hop". It is considered by many to be one if the best rap albums ever recorded. With hits like "Best Kept Secret" and "Sally Got A One Track Mind" Diamond D was obviously way ahead of most of his counterparts in Rap Music. The Bronx native is one of the quintessential  producers of his genre. His name is high on the list of best producers  being counted among the likes of Pete Rock, DJ Premier and Large Professor.

After "Stunts" Diamond D released "Hatred, Passion And Infidelity" in 1997, which featured the single and video "Hiatus". He followed that with four more projects from 2003 to 2008.

He is back with a new full length album called "Diam Life" due out this summer. It features special guest appearances from Pete Rock, Talib Kweli, Camp Lo, Alchemist, Hi-Tek and Rapsody. The lead single "Rap Life" features lyrical genius, Pharoahe Monch. Check out the latest video filmed and directed by Salem Psalms.
