I can't tell you the exact moment when I fell in love with Hip-Hop. But, I do know the moment I became a hip-hop junkie. It was Fall 2000. I was in my cousin Amanda's doom room, and she was playing Common – Like Water For Chocolate. I got hypnotized by this J Dilla track called The Questions... It was a wrap after that. I went home and got on Limewire. Downloaded Common's whole CD ( I bought it years later). I literally got sucked into a Hip Hop wormhole for hours. I beefed up my HipHop playlist and the MP3 CD I made.... Bruh it was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
