Created in 2010, VISUAL CAFFEINE is a monthly show focusing on bringing true Hip Hop culture to the masses.With interviews, live performances and animation we hope to entertain and educate at the same time.

A new year brings some changes here at VISUAL CAFFEINE.
Our new host is John Robinson! He's been dropping science on the Hip Hop scene for 20+ years. Now we are blissed to have him bring his flavor to our show.

We also have DJ 2Fast. He's representing Newark NJ and the Universal Zulu Nation/Lost Tribes Zulus.

To kick this new format off, we have Napoleon Da Legend He gives us a dope interview and then rocks the spot with DJ Crazy Bazarro.

StaHHr "On My Gonzalez" Featuring John Robinson And Ekundayo


"On My Gonzales" is Atlanta-based mc/lyrical alchemist/DOOM affiliate staHHr's latest video from her "Mother Nature with a Molotov: Molotov Season" album. Joined by lyrical heavyweights John Robinson (Scienz of Life) and Ekundayo (L.I.U.N.S. Den), the trio lace this Floyd the Locsmif track with clever wordplay, smooth delivery and quotables for days. The title of the song comes from a line in staHHr's verse, where she coins the phrase "on my Gonzales" in reference to one "being focused, handling biz, doing their job, etc". Director Nick Burnz interweaves elements of "Golden Era" Hip-Hop with live performance footage, playing off of the organic energy of the song and the undeniable and familial chemistry of StaHHr, JR and Ekundayo.

John Robinson made the trip from NYC to immortalize the energy that catalyzed the album with this visual (the first song recorded for Molotov Season), and had this to say: "It was great to link with my ATL fam StaHHr and Ekundayo on this one! This is real deal fam biz. I have been rhyming with both of them in the trenches of the ATL scene since early 2000's and we are still here holding the Hip-Hop culture up strong. We gotta keep it moving swiftly...Always on our Gonzales yo! ZOOOOOOOM!"

Jasisri X "Stimuli" (I'm Ready) feat. L.I.F.E.Long, C-Rayz Walz and John Robinson

Jasiri X is known for his hard hitting social commentary. The Pittsburgh resident has been using the power of rap music to convey his message for years. He has chimed in on subjects that include Trayvon Martin, Occupy Wall Street, The Tea Party and police stop and frisk in his lyrics. He does not hesitate be to the CNN of the hood that Chuck D spoke of years ago.

He is always accompanied by Paradise Gray, one of the founding members of The X Clan. Jasiri Xs' music always comes with a companion video, which is often filmed by Paradise himself.

Jasiri sometimes rhymes to original tracks, but also rhymes to instrumentals of known hits in an effort to grab the listeners attention- so that his message will be heard.

He is now back with a new track that features some of New Yorks most praised underground Mcs. "Stimuli" (I'm Ready) Features L.I.F.E. Long, C-Rayz Walz and John Robinson, all of which have received accolades from fans of the real boom-bap.
